Alex P. Kellogg is a Michigan-based reporter for The Wall Street Journal. He covers the domestic auto industry, as well as the impact that the financial crisis and economic downturn have had on the on the industry and the region. He covered Chrysler before, during and after its bankruptcy filing and now reports on foreign automakers such as Honda and Volkswagen's U.S. Operations, though his primary focus is reporting on urban affairs in Detroit. His work was the first to uncover that Chrysler was almost entirely leveraged while owned by private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management, LLP. Wes Moore is an investment professional for Citigroup, working directly for the head of the Global Banking Division. A Former White House Fellow, 2006-2007, Wes served as Special Assistant to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. A paratrooper and Captain in the United States Army, he served a combat tour of duty in Afghanistan with the elite 1st Brigade of the 82nd Airborne Division. Wes spearheaded the American strategic support plan for the Afghan Reconciliation Program that unites former insurgents with the new Afghan Government. Wes completed an MLitt in International Relations from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University in 2001 with a degree in international relations. He is authoring a book published by Random House due for a highly anticipated 2010 release. Wes was recently named one of Ebony Magazine’s Top 30 Leaders Under 30 for 2007 and one of Crains New York top 40 young business leaders under 40.

Rendel L. Solomon is a Senior Associate at Chicago-based private equity firm Muller & Monroe Asset Management, LLC (M2), which invests exclusively in emerging managers on behalf of institutional investors. As a Senior Associate, Rendel is responsible for fund manager due diligence, sales and marketing efforts, and client services. Rendel received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA in 2000. He began his professional career in the consumer packaged goods industry as a project engineer for The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) in Cincinnati, OH. He then left P&G after three years to obtain his MBA from New York's Columbia Business School. Upon graduation, Rendel founded an artist and talent management firm in New York City. In 2007, he seized the opportunity to return to his hometown of Chicago to work with his longtime mentor, André Rice, the founder of M2. Rendel serves on the Associate Board for LINK Unlimited, a not-for-profit organization that provides educational services and mentoring to economically disadvantaged African American youth from the Chicago area.

Tom Rowland is a Vice President of Investments for Grosvenor Capital Management. He joined the firm in 2006 and shares responsibility for investment research and portfolio monitoring, with a focus on arbitrage strategies. From 2002 to 2006, he worked at Citadel Investment Group as a Credit Analyst on the Distressed Team and as an Associate in Portfolio Finance, where he was primarily responsible for the funding of Citadel's credit strategies. Mr. Rowland received his Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Economics and a certificate in Finance from Princeton University in 2002. Mr. Rowland is Series 7 certified with FINRA and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Morris J. White, Jr. is the Portfolio Regional Finance Manager - Americas and a member of the Portfolio & Strategy Group in the Americas for Shell Oil Company. Morris joined Shell in 2008 and is currently leading the divestment of Shell's Downstream businesses in six Central American countries (Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua) and provides financial leadership and support for Shell's M&A activities in the Americas.
Prior to joining Shell, he worked as an Investment Banker for Goldman Sachs and Jefferies & Company focused on energy clients (Oil & Gas Companies, Electric & Gas Utilities, and Master Limited Partnerships). As a banker, he advised clients on and executed public/private corporate financings, M&A, and structured products.
Morris earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Math Minor from the New Jersey Inst. of Tech., MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Univ. of Michigan (Ann Arbor), and MBA from the Univ. of Chicago.
